The 18th Annual SUP Cup – presented by Easy Rider was held on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
The weather was possibly the best ever for our Race and Tour down the North Saskatchewan River through Edmonton.
We had 28 paddlers signed up for the 17km Race from Terwillegar Park to Rafters Landing, while 24 paddlers took part in the casual 9km Tour paddle from Laurier Park to Rafters Landing.
The after paddle prize giveaway and snacks were again a great part of the event.
In addition to everyone getting a prize bag – young Simon was the lucky winner of a Quickblade paddle (which was “traded” to his dad for future considerations), and Nic won a Dusters longboard.
Special Thank You to all the fast racers that helped all the paddlers out of the water and to get their boards up the bank safely.
Thank you to Angela for help with organizing and running errands for the event, and a BIG Thanks to Griffin for shuttle service and timing.
Last, but not least – Thanks to all that came out and had FUN!
