Another day in paradise! Jeff and Brynja’s wedding was at sunrise at Tunnels (a famous surf break here on Kauai) – and it was amazing. After the wedding festivities it was off to the beach as the sun came back with a vengeance. Managed to get in a few good rides out at the reef – but conditions were not very good. Event filled day: 7.5 km flat water paddle on the river. 2 hours of small – but fun surfing. 1st annual Family Mini Golf Classic (which I won) Jeff’s Pre wedding dinner – catered by Pat – of Pat’s Taqueria fame!

Well I guess the Alberta saying of “if you don’t like the weather . . . wait 5 minutes” can apply to Kauai as well. Yesterday was sunny and warm – today was rainy and chilly.  Not Edmonton minus a billion chilly, but gee I think I need to put on a T-Shirt” chilly.
