I hope you all enjoyed Fathers Day in one way or another. My awesome wife gave me a shuttle ride out to Shalom Park (right by Rabbit Hill) outside of Edmonton, AB. I then paddled my butt off for 2:54.21 and covered 33.5 km all the way to Rafters Landing (the Edmonton River boat). Race #3 of the Easy Rider / Naish series is set for this coming Tuesday evening (June 22) at Telford Lake in Leduc. Easy Rider, Currie Industries and Old Bus Designs hosted a Surf Session in West Edmonton Mall this past Wednesday night. Three straight hours of surfing was a ton of fun. Everyone was getting full rides by the end of the night, with the most improved being Trey, Griffin and Brett. I guess youth is key to learning. Big thanks to Dave and Scott for the limited edition “Big Wednesday” T-Shirts.
