Well it finally stopped raining for a few hours – so we got the Second round of the Easy Rider / Naish Race Series event in at Telford Lake. Results are: Men 1) Warren Currie 2) Dave Potter 3) Rob Borreli 4) Stephen Wright Women 1) Angela Currie Juniors 1) Trey Currie 2) Griffin Currie Race # 3 is on June 22 – come on out and have some fun.

The Easy Rider SUP water safety patrol was once again in action at the Summerside Lake Triathlon this past weekend. Delmer, Robin, Griffin and myself made sure that the swimmers not only stayed on course, but also had an easy place to rest if needed during the swim portion of the race. With the water temperature only being 13 degrees celsius we were all very glad to be “on the water” instead of “in the water”. Congratulations to all those that took part and finished their races.

In addition to being one of the main driving forces in the Canadian economy – Fort McMurray is now also home to the latest explosion of SUP! The Ewashko family has jumped on the SUP board with both feet. Take two brothers and their respective families add 6 boards – and they are ready for a summer of family fun.
