The 26th Annual Easy Rider Snowboard Cup – presented by Burton Snowboards at Panorama Mountain Resort was once again the highlight of The Easy Rider snowboard season. We had  226  competitors show up to race the  Banked Slalom and take part in the new and super FUN – Handplant Contest. Last weekend I managed ot squeeze in an awesome night time Splitboard session out at Tawatina Valley. I was riding the Burton Freebird with Karakoram splitboard bindings on it. The ease of this set up is amazing.  It took me longer to stop and take photos than it did to change from ski to ride mode. Super simple and so well thought out. It’s that time of the year again – Snowboard Cup time! March 30 & 31, 2013 at Panorama Mountain, BC Events are Banked Slalom and a new and never seen before Mystery Event. Once again Lester Quitzau will be providing the musical entertainment for the weekend. Cost is the same as it has been for the last 25 years – $25. for all events of the weekend.
