What would a SUP filled weekend in Edmonton be for Dave Kalama with out taking him for a paddle on the river – with ICE still in it.
We did a 10 km down river paddle – thanks to my lovely wife for the shuttle service.
When we got to the launch spot a big cloud came over and unleashed rain and hail – Dave’s response – “What the hell have you gotten me into?”
My reply – “This ain’t Maui – let’s go”
We did wait out the hail for a few minutes and then the sun cam out for a great paddle.
