The 17th Annual SUP Cup – presented by Easy Rider was held on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
The weather was perfect for our Race and Tour down the North Saskatchewan River through Edmonton, with possibly the best conditions in the events 17 year history.
We had 27 paddlers signed up for the 17km Race from Terwillegar Park to Rafters Landing, while 11 paddlers took part in the casual 9km Tour paddle from Laurier Park to Rafters Landing.
The after paddle prize giveaway and snacks were again a great part of the event.
In addition to everyone getting a prize bag – Ashley was the lucky winner of a Quickblade paddle, and Trevor won a Santa Cruz Surf Skate
Special Thank You to everyone that helped in the running of the event – Angela for help with prizing / Griffin for shuttle service and timing / and everyone that helped paddlers out of the water and get their boards up the bank safely.
Last, but not least – Thanks to all that come out and had FUN!
