Once again I was fortunate enough to be invited by Quiksilver out to Tofino, BC for a few days of SUP Surfing and talking “shop”.
With the van loaded up with all types of boards – it was off on the somewhat long drive out.
Being a person who actually enjoys driving – I tend to take the road less travelled. Â Instead of heading to Vancouver and then over – the trip went via Jasper / Kamloops / Lillooet / Pemberton / ferry crossing to Nanimo and then the final drive to Tofino. Â The route is shorter, but takes about the same amount of time as the roads are much “twister”.
Once in  Tofino it was your typical surf trip – get up, eat, surf, eat, surf, hot tub, eat, sleep, and repeat.
The swell wass up and the surf was great. A little windy and rainy at times – but nothing worth stopping for.
Thank you to Quiksilver for caring about the sports and continuing to do this for its dealers.
